Biography

Kathrin Graw completed her studies on Meteorology from 2008 to 2014 at the University of Hannover (Bachelor of Science and Master of Science). From 2014 to 2018 she worked as a research assistant at the German Meteorological Service in Offenbach. Since 2018 she is working as research scientist at the Research Centre Human Biometeorology Freiburg (ZMMF) of the German Meteorological Service. In 2019 she started her doctoral research under supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Matzarakis and Prof. Dr. Andreas Christen with collaboration of the Chair of Environmental Meteorology, University of Freiburg.

Research

As part of her doctoral research in the field of human biometeorology, Graw investigates the influence of weather on human health to develop a new method for biosynoptical forecast based on the numerical weather prediction.
