Biography
Thomas Plapp studied biology and chemistry at the Georg-August University in Göttingen (Germany) from 2003 to 2009. In 2005/2006 he studied at the Universidad de Cádiz in Spain, funded by the DAAD, and during this time he worked in the Coto de Doñana National Park. In 2009 he finished both courses (diplom in biology and teaching at grammar schools with the subjects biology and chemistry). In 2010 he began his career as a teacher at a Freiburg high-school. Thomas Plapp is working at the Chair of Environmental Meteorology at the University in Freiburg since 2020. He is station manager and a scientific employee working at the Hartheim Research Forest Site.
