Biography
Dana Looschelders studied landscape ecology at the University of Münster from 2017 to 2020 (Bachelor of Science). From 2020 to 2023 she studied landscape ecology with the three main foci of boundary layer climatology, remote sensing and environmental modelling as well as ecosystems and global change. Since 2023 she is pursuing a PhD at the Chair of Environmental Meteorology at the University of Freiburg.
Research
In her master thesis she analysed the energy balances of two adjacent, heterogeneous urban surfaces. In her PhD she currently studies the urban boundary layer through ground-based remote sensing platforms and meteorological modelling.
