Biographie
Sven Kolbe studierte von 2011 bis 2016 an der Hochschule Van Hall Larenstein in den Niederlanden Wildtiermanagement (Bachelor of Science). Von 2016 bis 2019 studierte er an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg Umweltwissenschaften mit der Profillinie Umweltmodellierung und Geoinformationssysteme (Master of Science). Seit 2019 arbeitet er an seiner Doktorarbeit an der Professur für Umweltmeteorologie der Universität Freiburg.
Forschungsschwerpunkt
Im Rahmen seiner Masterarbeit, beschäftigte er sich mit Fragestellungen zur wind-induzierten Baumreaktion, welche im Zusammenhang steht mit der Entstehung von Sturmschäden an Bäumen und in Wäldern. Der Forschungsschwerpunkt seiner Doktorarbeit befasst sich mit Interaktionen zwischen Druckunterschieden in der bodennahen Atmosphäre und dem hierdurch resultierenden Gastransport im Boden.
